And just like that, October is half way through already. Pumpkins have not yet been bought, but I do have a costume ready to go so that’s a win! I’ll be hanging out at Market Wines for their Spooktacular Beer Fest. So, if you don’t have somewhere to go, check them out (tickets are available on Eventbrite).
October’s bag was full of all the fall feels, and taste! Mountain Rhino Donuts’ cinnamon buns are gluten free, dairy free, peanut & tree nut free, and delicious. Pop one in the microwave to warm it up for your breakfast of champions (this is a judgement free zone!). In addition to their cinnamon buns, they offer a variety of treats some of which are also vegan. If you have a restricted diet Mountain Rhino Donuts are for you. And if you don’t have a restricted diet, Mountain Rhino Donuts are for you. The list of places you can find their products keeps growing so check out their website for a location close to you.
Rinse and Repeat creates candles using thrifted vessels. I love the uniqueness of these candles. In the time since the October bags have gone out, she has rebranded to Land Of Daughters. The repurposed vessels are no longer a priority (business has grown too much to keep up with the additional time required for these vessels), you can now find her scented candles in frosted jars.
Dirt Road Designs YYC creates a variety of earrings. We featured a pair of medium sized textured leather earrings. While most larger earrings are heavy these ones are light as a feather. Make a statement without the weight.
Last, but certainly not least, were felted face soaps from After The Rain YYC’s. The merino wool exterior helps to gently exfoliate the skin and helps to extend the life of your soap (I’ve been using one of the body soaps for months now!). These soaps will help keep your skin fresh during the changing of the seasons.
Stay tuned for what’s next :)
